According to statistics from the Ministry of Culture, the number work entries from the CIS countries to Russia had increased by an average on three times at the I quarter of 2015 in comparison with the same period of 2014.
For example, Armenian citizens arrived more than 298% (from 26 to 106 thousand people), from Azerbaijan - 247% (from 14 th. to 50 th. people), from Moldova - 233% (from 30 th. to 101 thous. people), Kazakhstan - 81% (from 23 th. to 42 th. people), Uzbekistan - 76% (from 232 ths. to 408 ths. people) from Kyrgyzstan - 67% (from 58 th to 98 th. people) Tajikistan - 49% (from 189 th. 280 th. people). At the same time the number of private trips from these countries to Russia for the same period fell sharply. Thus, Moldovan citizens have been visiting Russia for 61% less, Uzbekistan - 64%, Armenia - 34%, in Tajikistan — 59%.
